He even gave the curly kid with a special invitation card. The curly kid was excited about the party. Boys over Flowers hits Philippines by storm. This korean drama was just aired in ABS-CBN last week, and the feedback from the Filipinos was great. Boys over flowers is the korean version of the anime Hana Yori Dango. This drama is starred by Lee Min-ho, Kim Beom, Kim Jeon, Gu Hye-seon, and Kim Yeong-jun. It has 25 episodes and runs for 70'.

Watch it's uniqueness from the Japanese and Taiwanese version of Hana Yori Dango. In the Philippines, it is aired at 6:00 pm just before the news TV Patrol.

Just a few minutes ago, Ricky Hatton and Manny Pacquiao was fighting. At round one, everyone was surprised because of the hits made by Pacman to Hitman. It seems that Hitman was really disturbed by the hit. At round two, Pacman won with a knockdown!!! Looks like the west people are all surprised, Pacman really showed them whose the best. I guess people who bought ticket for this fight is disappointed, the match ended within just 2 rounds. This fight will bring glory to the people of the Philippines and also to in Asia. Hitman is sure no match for Manny. Looks like all the talk made by Mayweather Sr. about Manny is all rubbish. Manny Pacman Pacquiao is sure the bloody CHAMPION. Well, after this fight who might be the next challenger for Pacman. Will Hatton continue his career? Or will he ask for another match? Hope he won't ask for a rematch, the outcome will be so apparent.

Hot Shot is currently aired in the Philippines. This Taiwanese TV series was already aired in China, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea. The stars of this show is Jerry Yan from the "Meteor Garden", Wu Chun from the "Romantic Princess" and Show Luo from "Lovers Corner". Hot Shot will sure be a hit in the Philippines. This series is about Andy(Show Luo) , who loves basketball and was forbidden by his grandmother to play it, went to a school in which its basketball team is the worst. Actually there is a lot to tell, I think it would be better to watch it.

Well looks like there is no graduation for me this year. Our adviser just said that we will have our proposal defense this summer, I guess I have to inform my family and relatives and friends about this. Although it embarrasing and hard to inform them, I think it is better than letting them believe that I am going to graduate this year. As I inform them, they always ask "Why?". Then I always answer them the same lines that my thesis is not yet finished and that there is a lot to work on. When I look at the past few months, I hope that we had our recent topic for our thesis was the first one. The first topic for our thesis was already proposed however it was not implemented because our expert for the thesis withdraw. It is really important to plan well your thesis, specially the in deciding the topic for it.

While jae hee was driving his motorbike he accidently crashed into yoo hee's car. Ofcourse, yoo hee with her attitude wants jae hee to pay for the damages. The damages cost a lot, and jae hee don't have any income. He would put him into jail if he wouldn't pay, so he decided to go to her office to talk to her. While in the office, he overheard that she was looking for a housemaid so he said that he would work to pay off his debt. At first yoo hee doesn't want to hire him, but after a few days and some circumstances. They engaged into a contract. Jae hee will pay all of his debts from yoo hee by working as a maid and helping her out to find a lover.

This story about Lisette and her husband desperately want a child but her husband is unable to get her pregnant.Lisette suddenly loses her husband in an accident and she gives birth to her daughter. What she does not know is that her husband's three friends donated sperm to his husband so that she can get pregnant. The father of Lisette's child can either be Jake, Jayden or it could Ariel.

Watch on how they take care of the child while Lisette is not around. This show is really fun to watch, hope you'll watch it too.

The Duelist a Korean film. I found this movie great. I like also its sound effects.

This movie opens with a fish tale narrated by a low-class metalsmith in a tavern in Joseon-era south-western Korea, . The scene then cuts to a street circus, in which an elegant masked swordmaster (Kang Dong-won) fascinates his market-place audience. Undercover detective Ahn (Ahn Sung-ki), and his protégé Namsoon (Ha Ji-won) are tracking down suspected money-counterfeiter gang, when the masked swordmaster ends his show by killing a government official who carries the kingdom's currency metal cast.

Later Namsoon goes undercover then she'll get to know Kang Dong-won. Then they'll fall in love, however, they each belong to opposing parties. Just watch it to get a clearer view of the story.

I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK is a Korean romantic comedy film directed by Park Chan-wook. I find this movie very unique. The love story is not "sumo" (a bisaya term).

This film's setting is in a mental institution. Young-goon, a young woman who believes herself to be a cyborg, refuses to eat and instead administers electric shocks to herself. Il-sun, a young male patient hospitalized for anti-social behaviour and schizophrenia, who believes he can take other peoples souls, befriends Young-goon. After Young-goon is given shock treatment, she believes that she has been recharged and fantasizes about killing the hospital staff who had previously taken her mentally-ill grandmother away. In reality, her physical condition begins to deteriorate rapidly. By convincing her that he had installed a food-to-electrical-energy converting unit (a rice-megatron) in her back, Il-sun gets Young-goon to eat.

Sad Movie is a Korean movie about four relationships and their trials, pains, heartaches, and subsequent separations. The plot lines eventually connect in some way, but they remain unrelated for the most part.

The first story tells of a firefighter and his girlfriend named Su-Jung who works in a TV station as a news translator for the mute. She's waiting for him to propose, focused on the rationale that given his dangerous job, she likes the idea of him having to think of her, to hesitate for a while before jumping into danger. He, on the other hand, is waiting for that perfect opportunity, setting and all, before popping the question. The second story is about a mute girl who works as a costume character in a theme park. There she meets a young artist who she begins to develop feelings for quickly; yet refuses to take off her mask in front of him for quite some time. The third story is of a mother and child. The mother was too busy to spend time with her young son, until an illness confines her to a hospital bed. There the mother and son begin to communicate more and more. Lastly, the story of a boy and girl who have just broken up. The girl's reason being that she needs a more stable guy with a good job. The unemployed ex-boyfriend goes off and finds himself a job helping other couples break up. Hoping that if he earns enough money, he could woo his loved one back.

This romantic comedy film is starred by My Sassy Girl's main actor Jung Woo-Sung (as Jin-Woo), Im Su-Jung (as Su-Jung), Cha Tae-Hyun (as Ha-Seok), Yeom Jung-Ah (as Ju-Yung), Shin Min-Ah (as Su-Eun), Son Tae-Yung (as Suk-Hyun), and Lee Ki-Woo (as Sang-Gyu). It was the second film directed by Kwon Jong-kwan.

Il Mare, a very nice film, is a starred by, Windstruck's main actress, Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Jung-Jae. The title, Il Mare, means 'The Sea' in Italian, and is the name of the seaside house which is the setting of the story.

According to the most popular interpretations of the film, there are two distinct timelines intertwined throughout most of the film. These two timelines are torn away from each other at the end of the film, causing the "bittersweet" nature of the ending.

It started with Eun-joo moving out of a house by the sea called "Il Mare". As she is leaving, she leaves a Christmas card in the mailbox, asking the next resident to please forward her mail to her. Sung-hyun, an architectural student, receives her card, but is puzzled, since he is the first resident at "Il Mare" and the card is dated 2 years in the future. Windstruck is Korean fantasy-romantic comedy movie directed by Kwak Jae-yong. The film was a success. Me and my friends are so moved by the movie.

The film is starred by My Sassy Girl's main actress Jun Ji-hyun as Officer Kyung-jin Yeo. She plays an ambitious young female police officer serving on the Seoul police department. One day while chasing a purse snatcher, she accidentally captures Myung-woo Go (played by Jang Hyuk), a physics teacher at an all-girls school, who was actually trying to catch the thief. Later, Myung-woo discovers the stolen purse, but just as he picks it up, Kyung-jin spots him and tries to arrest him again. Kyung-jin is then given the job of escorting Myung-woo through a dangerous district, only to be distracted when she tries to break up a meeting between Russian Mafia and Korean gangsters. With Myung-woo handcuffed to her, Kyung-jin almost single-handedly brings down the two rival gangs (although she is helped when she accidentally causes the groups to start shooting at each other). Moving Around

Getting a robot to walk on two legs is one of the most difficult things for roboticists. (Makes you realize how wonderfully advanced our bodies are.) The most famous walking robot is Honda's Asimo. Just over three feet high, this robot pop star has already been to the Philippines and met a few lucky girls and boys. Some robots, like Sony's charming robot dog, Aibo, walk on all fours. Other robots roll around on treads like tanks or on wheels, and some even tiptoe like a spider on eight legs!

Even if robots today aren't as advanced as robots in movies or cartoons, they are good for performing repetitive tasks. Image attaching doors to a car all day, every day for the rest of your life? That would be dull, dull, DULL! For tasks like these, it's best to let a robot do it for you- they are stronger and more precise. Robots are also good for working in dangerous situations, like taking gas and lava samples from an active volcano. They don't breathe so poison fumes won't harm them, and their metal bodies can withsand much more heat than your fragile skin. Robots can also go to places humans can't. They can explore Mars or dive the depths of the Atlantic Ocean in search for suken ships.

You see them in movies, you watch them on TV, you read about them in comics: those awesome machines called robots - giant mech warriors that blast their enemies to smithereens. Though Gundams and Zoids still exist only in the realm of fiction, here are some fascinating facts about real robots...

But first, what are robots, really?

Robots scientists (called robotics) defined robots as reprogrammable brains that move a body, but even souped-up remote-controlled vehicles (like the ones in Robot Wars competitions on TV) can be called robots. We tend to think of robots as anthropomorphic - geek speak for human-shaped - but that is not usually the case. Most of today's robots are simple robotic arms used in , manufacturing plants worldwide. Try making friends with that! Still, some robots have made their way into people's homes. The Electrolux Trilobite, for example, is a robot the size of a throw pillow that vacuums your home. It plots out its course, navigates around your furniture while sucking up dirt, and returns to its dock to recharge when its batteries run out. Not quite your 'bot buddy but it's better than you doing the housework.

Gundam VS. Zeta Gundam

If you've played Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon, then you've practically played this game already. It't got the same furious robot action found in its predecessor, but set in the Z Gundam era. The best thing about this game is the story mode. You can play the game from the viewpoint of any of the three warring factions: AEUG, Titans or Axis. Choosing sides will allow you to play as any of the characters and mobile suits of that group. If you prefer the Zeta Gundam, play as Kamille in the AEUG path; if you favor Haman Karn and the Quebeley, take the Axis path. They're all really fun to play and you get a boatland of bonuses just for finishing the story mode. Battle points are spent on leveling up your mobile suit and opening new items in the gallery. There's a Versus mode as well, which can be quite entertaining for a few rounds. The real downside to the game is that the control feel somewhat blocky, making you feel like you're piloting a remote control toy rather than a sleek mobile suit.

Sick of getting their butts kicked by Takumi's Hachiroku and the Redsuns team, Takeshi and Shoji of the Nightkids came to the shop asking for help on choosing new rides. What would they get? I really enjoy listening to cool music with MP3 and MP4 player these days. But listening to your favorite music on your Lolo’s time wasn’t always this convenient or easy. How did our parents and grandparents listen to their favorite tunes?

The Phonograph

In 1877, American inventor Thomas Alva Edison created the phonograph. Using a sheet of tin foil mounted on a hand-cranked cylinder, he spoke into the diaphragm from a telephone’s mouthpiece, which was connected to a stylus needle from a telegraph machine. His voice created vibrations in the stylus, which etched out scratches on the tin foil. The first historic words ever to be recorded and played back were, “Mary had a little lamb/ Its fleece was white as snow/ And Everywhere that Mary went/ The lamb was sure to go.”

The Gramophone

In 1888, German inventor Emile Berliner patented the gramophone. It was similar to Edison’s machine, but while the phonograph used a cylinder to record sounds, the gramophone used flat discs, like the LP records of your granddad’s day. With flat discs, many copies of a disc could be produced, thus starting the worldwide boom in the recording industry.

The Cassette Player

Originally developed in 1962, the cassette tape is still the most widespread method of sound recording. They’re reliable, cheap and capable of Hi-Fi stereo sound. Your kuya probably still has stash of Menudo or Michael Jackson tapes somewhere at home.

The CD player

The game is not chellenging enough though, as you can plow through most of your enemies by transforming objects into weapons. But hey, it's based on a cool anime and is still a pretty good game.

I really like anime and I watch some animes that are into races or cars... These anime characters are relying on their special vehicles to get around the place. But I think we can compare those cars to the real ones.

Speed Racer

When a heavily modified pure racecar like Speed Racer's Mach 5 broke down, for me its like the Koenigsegg CCR, the new version of Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg's Guinness-record-holding CC8S. The CC8s is recognized as the world's most powerful streetcar, but the CCR trumps it with a pants,-wetting 806 horsepower engine. It's made of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum honeycomb, in keeping with Speed's need for cutting-edge technology. It's big enough to host the high-tech gadgetry that Speed uses to capture the bad guys. And since the company is small, they can focus on customizing cars for their customers. Besides, Imagine how good the Machh 5's paint job would look in the CRR!

Canine companions for the blind may be a thing for the past once the Kyoto Institute finishes its latest project. Researchers there are developing an Electronic Eye that can be attached to any pair of glasses and is able to recognize pedestrian crossing lines and the colors of traffic lights through the tiny camera in the device. Don a snazzy pair of shades and sneakers and you're good to go.

July 19,2008, we had our it acquaintance party. It started with an amazing race,within the campus, which are competed by four teams(red java, blue scheme, green c, and the pink pascal). The challenges in this race includes the singing of our alma matter song, finding the output of a given program, playing the Rubik's cube, and many more. We finished the race at third place. Though not first, it was fun (unlike the previous years). From the campus, we proceeded to Timoga Spring Pool to have our lunch and continue the party. Me and my friends really had fun, we went home around seven in the evening.
