Anime Rides 2

Another episode of anime cars that look like real cars...

Hunting down and stopping rogue Artificial Intelligence(AI) cars can be very difficult, so they'll need a good mix of horsepower and electronic help. And we got the cars for them! The new BMW M5 mixes high-tech and hig-power elements in a truly awesome vehicle. Its high-revving 507 hp engine gets it from 0 to 100 kph in 4.7 seconds - and 200 kph a mere 10 seconds later. This controlled by a MS S 65 computer, made up of three 32-bit processors capable of performing up to 200 milion operations per second-something the tech-loving eX-D team will surely flip for. The Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system keeps the M5 firmly on the ground - essential when going after an AI car gone haywire. Plus, the semi-automatic 7-speed transmission makes shifting up and down a breeze, and GPS satellite navigation tells our intrepid drivers exactly where those rogue robot vehicles are.

Sick of getting their butts kicked by Takumi's Hachiroku and the Redsuns team, Takeshi and Shoji of the Nightkids came to the shop asking for help on choosing new rides. What would they get? Of course the Skyline V35 300GT. Considered the Skyline's heir, this car puts out 260 hp from its 3.0-L engine, which comes out to around 87 hp per liter - in unmodified from! IT's a rear-wheel-drive car (power comes form the rear wheels), so it's easy to drive. Plus, it looks great in black!

For Shoji, he would pick the new Honda Civic Type R. The new Type R gets you from 0 to 60 kph in a mere 6.6 seconds, thanks to a very lightweight body and a strong engine that produces 197 hp. And, the Civic Type R is so small that the engine can really push the car around, while still retaining knife-sharp control. And since it's a very popular car, you can bet that there are a lot of manufacturers making performance parts for it.
